Wildlife on the property is abundant. You will find deer, bear, turkeys, turtles, coyotes, armadillos, possums, bobcat, fox, owls, eagles, and more! We are minutes from the Cumberland River, which has been used for transportation for hundreds of years. Fort Blount which is on this river was opened in 1787, while the town of Gainesboro was settled in the 1790's and established in 1817. Jackson County was the site of many Native American battles and to this day you can find relics such as arrowheads.
